At the Maine Poets’ and Writers' Group (MPWG.net), we strive to cultivate a vibrant community of poets and writers in Maine. Our mission is to support and inspire each other in our creative journeys through conferences, workshops and discussions.
What's more, George and Kristin Frangoulis are the co-founders of The Evergreen Press, publisher of popular books and magazines written by fine Maine authors. Please let us know if you want to join us and get published.

At MPWG, we offer you optional media opportunities with various platforms to generate excitement for your creative work.
It is through our community engagement efforts we help you promote your excellent works.
Here’s how we grab enthusiasm for your fine literature.
1. Discussing your works and readings from either your poetry or literature as our podcast guest.
2. Broadcasting from your works to listeners and viewers through community-sponsored radio and television channels.
3. Sharing your works on our social media platforms.
4. Publishing books or magazines with your fine works with The Evergreen Press, in our annual poetry anthology or in our poetry journal, POETICUS.

1. MPWG’s ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE —$32.00 for a year’s membership; automatic renewal at same annual rate.
2. CONFERENCE FEES — $50 to $150 depending on the length (number of days) attending The Evergreen Press sponsored educational conferences/seminars. Fees include registration, luncheon and happy hour. Fees do not include meals or board

3. REVIEWING AND EDITING FEE —- $40.00 per hour for reviewing, editing, and evaluating a poet's or writer’s work prior to their submitting it for publication.
4. ANNUAL WEBSITE FEE — $65.00 fee for displaying information about a poet's or writer’s work on MPWG website for one year.

5. PUBLISHING FEE — $50.00 fee for publication of your work in The Evergreen Press’ annual Maine poetry anthology or in our quarterly poetry journal, POETICUS.
6. DONATIONS — We appreciate your generous donations in any amount to assist us with our work helping Maine poets and writers succeed with their literary pursuits.
